Les voyageurs qui se rendent au nord de la Tha\u00eflande visitent en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Chiang Mai, <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.beenaroundtheglobe.com\/fr\/pai-thailande-ville-detente\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pai<\/a>, et Chiang Rai donc. <strong>Chiang Rai est la ville la plus au nord, et c&#8217;est \u00e9galement la plus grande ville du triangle d&#8217;or.<\/strong> Qu&#8217;est ce que c&#8217;est le triangle d&#8217;or? Une r\u00e9gion \u00e0 cheval entre la Tha\u00eflande, <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.beenaroundtheglobe.com\/fr\/infos-pratiques-birmanie\/\" target=\"_blank\">la Birmanie<\/a>, et <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.beenaroundtheglobe.com\/fr\/luang-prabang-temples-moines-drogues\/\" target=\"_blank\">le Laos<\/a>. C&#8217;\u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re r\u00e9gion&nbsp;productrice et exportatrice d\u2019opium au monde, mais aussi d&#8217;h\u00e9ro\u00efne. Certains disent qu&#8217;on appelle cette r\u00e9gion le triangle d&#8217;or car les transactions \u00e9taient effectu\u00e9es en or, d&#8217;autres disent que c&#8217;est simplement que l&#8217;or \u00e9tait un surnom donn\u00e9 \u00e0 l&#8217;opium. Ou plut\u00f4t&#8230; Il est beaucoup plus discret. <strong>Il est toujours relativement facile de se procurer de l&#8217;opium<\/strong> \u00e0 Luang Prabang, au Laos (on m&#8217;en a propos\u00e9, et j&#8217;\u00e9tais avec des voyageurs qui ont test\u00e9 de l&#8217;opium sous mes yeux&#8230;). Mais aujourd&#8217;hui, c&#8217;est l&#8217;Afghanistan le plus grand producteur d&#8217;opium au monde. Petite ville tranquille, o\u00f9 comme souvent en Asie, beaucoup de gens marchent avec un masque antipollution. <strong>Il y a plein de <em>ladyboys<\/em> aussi, c&#8217;est hallucinant!<\/strong> Je ne m&#8217;attendais pas \u00e0 en voir autant ici, au nord du pays! On s&#8217;attend \u00e0 en voir dans les villes plus festives type Phuket, Pattaya&#8230; Mais l\u00e0 j&#8217;\u00e9tais un peu surpris. Il y a aussi beaaaucoup de salons de massage douteux. Et je suis constamment alpagu\u00e9 quand je passe devant &#8220;<em>Chocolate maaan! I wanna eat youuu! Si je gagne, tu me payes un verre!&#8221; Ca a l&#8217;air correct. Sauf qu&#8217;elles sont surentrain\u00e9es, et que vous perdrez \u00e0 tous les coups! Elles prennent les sous&#8230; sans consommer!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Bon ce n&#8217;est pas surprenant en Tha\u00eflande (je n&#8217;ai pas dit que je cautionnais!), mais <strong>j&#8217;ai crois\u00e9 beaucoup de jeunes tha\u00eflandaises avec de vieux occidentaux<\/strong>, qui ont la soixantaine ou plus&#8230; Il y a une rue principale avec plein de bars et j&#8217;ai vu beaucoup de ces &#8220;couples&#8221; l\u00e0 bas. J&#8217;ai essay\u00e9 de ne pas voir mais ils sont partout! Et en marchant, yeux riv\u00e9s au sol, je me suis rendu compte que Chiang Rai est infest\u00e9e de rats! Il y a un march\u00e9 de nuit (comme partout en Tha\u00eflande) et on mange bien pour pas cher, sur fond de musique tha\u00ef. Pad tha\u00ef, soupe, poisson&#8230; Prenez ce que vous voulez, et vous paierez entre 40 et 60 baht (de 1 \u00e0 1.50\u20ac). Encore mieux, si vous y \u00eates un samedi, allez au saturday night market, le march\u00e9 du samedi! Il est gigantesque! En plus des babioles habituelles que l&#8217;on trouve au march\u00e9, on mange bien pour presque rien. <strong>J&#8217;ai pu manger un plat et avoir une soupe pour 30 baht (0.75\u20ac!).<\/strong> La cerise sur le g\u00e2teau? Un coin du march\u00e9 avec de la musique tha\u00ef \u00e0 fond, et tout le monde danse! Il faut donc arriver le plus t\u00f4t possible, j&#8217;y suis all\u00e9 \u00e0 10h30 le matin, et c&#8217;\u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 trop tard&#8230; Le temple blanc a un style bien diff\u00e9rent des temples classiques visit\u00e9s dans la r\u00e9gion. Le mus\u00e9e est gratuit, mais il faudra payer 50 baht (1.25\u20ac) pour acc\u00e9der au temple blanc. L&#8217;int\u00e9rieur est enti\u00e8rement bleu, sauf le Bouddha, qui est blanc. C&#8217;est un temple tr\u00e8s r\u00e9cent, qui n&#8217;a \u00e9t\u00e9 achev\u00e9 qu&#8217;en 2016. J&#8217;ai fr\u00f4l\u00e9 l&#8217;overdose de temples en les visitant, je suis sur qu&#8217;on peut vivre la m\u00eame chose juste en lisant. J&#8217;ai vu <strong>Wat Ming Muang<\/strong>, beau, petit mais malheureusement en travaux lors de mon passage. <strong>Wat Phra That Doi<\/strong> \u00e9tait moins fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 car plus loin. <strong>Wat Phra Kaew<\/strong>, situ\u00e9 au milieu d&#8217;un jardin, est tr\u00e8s populaire et il y a beaucoup de locaux sur place. On y trouve un joli lac, des plantations de th\u00e9&#8230; Il y a aussi <strong>le temple noir<\/strong>, qui est en fait un mus\u00e9e mais aussi une galerie d&#8217;art de l&#8217;artiste tha\u00ef Thawan Duchanee. On y trouve squelette d&#8217;animaux mais aussi peau, os&#8230; Il y a <strong>le mus\u00e9e Hall of Opium<\/strong> qui relate l&#8217;histoire de l&#8217;opium dans le triangle d&#8217;or. Testez un <strong>Khao Soi<\/strong>, le plat local : nouilles aux oeufs dans une soupe au curry jaune avec oignons rouge, citron et l\u00e9gumes. Enfin, prenez le temps de vous promener dans <strong>le bazar de nuit<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je ne dirai pas que Chiang Rai est un arr\u00eat indispensable en Tha\u00eflande, mais vous pouvez vous y rendre si vous \u00eates dans le coin. J&#8217;ai clairement moins aim\u00e9 que Pai, mais la ville est tranquille. Il y a juste le tourisme sexuel tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9sent qui m&#8217;a un peu d\u00e9rang\u00e9&#8230; Vous n&#8217;allez probablement pas seulement visiter Chiang Rai dans le pays, donc lisez mon guide complet pour savoir <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beenaroundtheglobe.com\/fr\/ou-aller-en-thailande\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">o\u00f9 aller en Tha\u00eflande<\/a> et que faire!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Comment_se_rendre_a_Chiang_Rai\"><\/span>Comment se rendre \u00e0 Chiang Rai<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Je suis arriv\u00e9 de Pai, et <strong>il n&#8217;y a pas de van direct Pai-Chiang Rai.<\/strong> Depuis Pai, un van vous conduira \u00e0 Chiang Mai, puis vous encha\u00eenerez avec un second van qui lui vous conduira \u00e0 Chiang Rai. Parti de 7h30 \u00e0 Pai, on est arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 14h45 \u00e0 Chiang Rai (sachant qu&#8217;on a fait une pause de plus d&#8217;une heure entre Chiang Mai et Chiang Rai).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sinon il y a des bus directs depuis Chiang Mai pour environ 120 baht (3 euros).
